Case Study: Energizing Performance — Redesigning Kinetic’s Online Store

The Background


Kinetic is a premium athletic brand offering performance-driven apparel and accessories for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. While their products were high-quality and innovative, their website didn’t reflect the energy, movement, and lifestyle associated with the brand.


Navigation was confusing, product storytelling was weak, and the digital experience lacked the motivation and excitement Kinetic represents. The brand approached us to create a website that mirrors the dynamic nature of their products and inspires users to engage and purchase.

The Challenge


The main challenge was to translate Kinetic’s active, high-energy brand into a seamless online experience. Visitors struggled to find products quickly, product pages didn’t communicate the performance benefits effectively, and the checkout process caused unnecessary friction. We needed a website that motivates users, highlights product innovation, and provides a smooth journey from discovery to purchase.




The Strategy


We approached the redesign with three key pillars:


  • Dynamic Visuals: Incorporating action shots, videos, and animated elements to convey movement and performance.

  • Clear Product Storytelling: Emphasizing fabric technology, fit, and functionality through concise, skimmable content.

  • Streamlined Navigation and Checkout: Simplifying menus, filtering options, and purchase paths to reduce friction

    and boost conversions.


The overall design combined bold typography, vibrant accents, and structured layouts to create a visually engaging and user-friendly experience that matches Kinetic’s athletic identity.

After the redesign:


  • +46% increase in conversion rate, driven by clearer product presentation and simplified checkout.

  • -35% bounce rate, as users engaged more with interactive visuals and informative content.

  • +40% increase in average session duration, reflecting deeper product exploration.
